DAF WATER SEPARATOR KITS

Legislation dictates that diesel fuel must contain a proportion of biodiesel, current up to 7%. In future the ratio of biodiesel to regular diesel will increase further.

This brings with it new challenges. Biodiesel by its nature is hydroscopic - it absorbs water.    Water is carried through the fuel system causing corrosion and bacterial growth.

DAF have developed efficient heated water separator kits to help prevent contaminated fuel reaching the injection systems of CF & XF models. These complete retro-fit kits are a cost effective solution to potential vehicle downtime.
